Oh Christmas Tree

The Kids had fun helping with the Christmas tree this year. First we went with Jamies family and Becky's Family and Grandma out passed Eureka to find our prize winning tree. We were lost and there were like no trees anywhere. We also forgot to bring lots of snacks so we were all hungry. But we went up a mountain and found one. I don't think it is a pinion pine because they are suppose to smell really good and this tree doesn't really smell at all. But we like it. Noah was dieing to decorate it and he found a good branch and kept at it. Later that night for Family home evening we all helped to finish off the tree. Harvey wanted to help too.

Happy Birthday & Anniversary

Ricky's birthday! Noah helped me make a giant cupcake for Daddy we got him a Roku player and that night we went as a family to Tucanos for dinner. It was fun.

For our anniversary this year we wanted to go for a little trip, I got all packed and ready to go to California. Harvey climed in the suitecase he was ready to go too. Ricky's Uncle (Jims brother) just passed away and we were thinking we would drive out ther to go to the funeral. We hadnt really planned it out to well so we diced to just take a trip to Vernal to see the Dinosaur museam... well Noah wanted to go see it but it was a fun little car ride. They just finished remodeling the quarry it was pretty awsome.

Then on Saturday our real anniversary we went out to lunch and did a little shopping. We ate at Las Hermanios it was delicious. That night my Aunt Diane got married so it was fun to go to a wedding on our anniversary.

Harvey's First Haircut

This little guy has a lot of hair. And it keeps growing. maybe we should take him to a professional next time it was hard work trying to cut his hair

Lindseys Wedding 11.11.11

One of my best friends from high school got married on 11.11.11. It was fun to get all dressed and glamed up for a fun night with the girls. We got our nails done the week before for Lindsey's birthday.

October

Noah and Harvey had fun dressing up and getting a few glamor shots!


Noah was super excited for Halloween he practiced with Dad trick-or-treating. On Halloween night we went to Aunt Wendy Smith's neighborhood (there are a lot of kids and a lot of houses (no hills!)). Noah was thrilled and was running from door to door until he saw Frankenstein. Frankenstein scared him pretty bad so that he was nervous to go to the other houses. Noah still talks about it. He just mentioned today that he did not want to go see the Frankenstein again for Halloween. It was a really good costume Wendy's neighbor is really tall and had these awesome platforms on and good make up crazy.


Noah got tons of candy. He got tons from Daycare that morning and tons that night. When we went to see Cara Jean, my Aunt and our neighbor, he was falling asleep. Harvey fell asleep in his car seat. It was a good Halloween and the kids had fun.

Why is it September?

This summer flew by. I have been crazy busy with my ultrasound schooling and taking care of the kids. I guess that is what happens when you get older the time just goes so quickly. Here are some super cute pictures of all the fun we have had this summer.

Fun with the Kids

Its kind of crazy to think I can say "did you get the kids, what are the kids doing?" I have two of them instead of just one. Noah is getting so tall he like seriously shot up this past month and some of his pants that fit him just a few weeks ago are short. I guess I will have to go shopping. Noah is crazy about washing cars. Rick took the bus to a car show last week and Noah helped him wash it and get it ready for the show. He had a blast. We went to the show a little late, mainly because we didn't want to be there all day in the blazing heat, but Noah had fun. He liked to feed the fish at in the pond at Thanksgiving point. Noah finally decided to try his 4 wheeler we got him for Christmas. He loves it now. It took him 9 months to try to push the button and not be scared that it moved by its self. Now he likes to lift up the seat and say "Hey mom look at my motor" while he revs his engine. He is so funny how he likes to do everything daddy does. He loves his daddy. Harvey is starting to motate really good he can pretty much get anywhere he wants to go. This kid is a mover, he has a hard time siting still long enough to let me change his diaper. He still only has his two teeth he got those in at 6 months and now he is 8 months and still only has the two, he drools a lot like he may get some more but still nothing. He loves to eat. He shovels in the cheerios and loves to eat peaches and anything you put in front of his face. He is such a smiley happy kid we are so bless to have him in our home we love him. Noah is starting to hate him... I think now because Harvey can grab his toys and move around he thinks he is a dog or something and can be mean to him. I guess Boys will be Boys. Bella came over today because Grandma is having Surgery on her back, and somehow I got all three kids to take there naps so I thought I would update my blog.

Washer & Dryer

So I am super excited that I am getting a new Washer & Dryer set! Yeah and the best part of it all is that they are RED! Rick is so nice and is letting me use the money I earn this month for this new set. Yesterday was crazy I took an additional shift at work and worked from 7am till 10:30 ugg. 15.5 hours. Yeah I had a headache at the end of the day, and when I got home I was too tired that I couldn't sleep so I hope it will all be worth it when I see my new Washer & Dryer. I am working the 4th of July too and get paid time and a half so... (way to much work) but... I really missed my kids though, I hope that I do not make a habit of this because I would rather be with my kids than have anything at all. But just this once I am making a sacrifice for my LG set. I hope that it is a good Washer and Dryer and that I wont be disappointed.

Update! Got the washer and Dryer and I LOVE them! Now we just need to save up for the counter top.

Potty, Solids,

So I don't really know how it happened... well kind of... but I am still surprised. Noah is Potty Trained, I think. He hasn't had an accident in like a week. He is such a good boy. But he has been waking up saying he is scared. I think he just needs to pee, because as soon as he goes, and he goes a lot, he can sleep just fine. All it took was one long Saturday forcing him to at least sit on his potty and now he is pretty good, and just before his third birthday too.
I gave Harvey his first solids two days ago. He acted like it was that sickest thing in the world. I don't know why he would be so grossed out by it, he likes his formula and it had formula in it... crazy kid.

Work Work Work

It seems like all Rick does is work. He is out of town again this whole week. He should be home, well not really home but working like normal next week but then gone again the week after that. That is just crummy. Even when he is just working normal he leaves early and gets home late. He is gone 10 hours a day 5 days a week isn't that just too much to ask of anyone. Is it really worth it? I think maybe we could cut back.... or think of something better. I want 5 hour work days. I am sick of it I want my husband back. I miss him.

3 months

Harvey is 3 months he is super silly and giggley. He likes to play with his tongue and suck on his right hand mainly his first finger. The past few nights he has been waking up a few times a night and he dosen't fall asleep very well either but hey he is so cute I don't mind much.

I'm a Failer or just lazy

So the whole potty challenge didnt work. I dont know what I am doing. I do not know how to Potty train this 2 almost 3 year old.... it is too hard I dont know what to do. Maybe I will just wait till he is in Kindergarded and is humiliated into using the toilet.

So I got a new camera for my B-day a nikon s8100 I really like it it takes way better pictures and its even red! Thanks Rick for the present your the best. Hear are a few pictuers I have been taking of the kids.

My Cousin Marie

I have not seen my cousin Marie in like 6 years. I miss her like crazy. We were like best friends like sisters. We had so much fun growing up. I am going up near Layton tomorrow to see my friend Lindsey so it makes me sad to think of all the fun times I had at Layton with her, and that now I have no clue where she even is... I would spend summers at her house in Layton or she would come down to my house and we would take road trips with Grandma to Eureka and Huntington. She was always the life of the party. She would always come up with the best games or funnest ideas. She was so nice and loving. She was like an adult with all the answers. I would just want to do everything she did, and I would want to dress just like her. I thought the plan was that we would move out and go to college together, but she kind of stopped talking to me then. And then when I got married all I kept thinking about is where is she, she wouldn't miss my wedding would she??? Then I tried to call her and her number had changed, she was gone forever??? I miss you Marie and I wish you would come back into my life. I hope you are OK and things are good for you. I hope one day you will find me. Love you tons, and miss you like crazy.

Potty Time

So we have really wanted Noah to start potty training for a long time but he hates the toilet. He screams when we even suggest that he sit on it. But it is time. We are going to start cracking down on this kid. Hopefully!! it will work. So yesterday I was determined to help him go on the potty because he woke up dry. It took a good half hour of convincing and bribing but he finally sat down. He knew he had to pee and then he did it! Yeah for Noah, he peed on his potty! But today was not the same. When I went to get him out of his bed ( he seems to still think I need to come and get him out of his big boy bed??) he had already peed in his diaper. So we still did sit on the toilet but I was not sure if he needed to go or not...rrr.... but this kid can only take siting on the toilet once a day I think. He just gets way to stressed out when I try to have him sit on it again. Maybe we will just have to go slow, once a day for a little while and then we can add more potty times. Noah doesn't care if he is wet, he doesn't care if he is has poop in his pants he never even tells me that he wants to be changed. He is too busy with his own life to care about his potty problems. That is why I thought maybe he isn't ready. He doesn't seem to even know when he goes he just goes.... I thought I would wait till it is warm and just let him loose outside, but maybe that is not the best idea. I tried letting him just pee in his underpants but that seemed crazy because then he just pees on my carpet and I have to clean up a huge mess rather than a small mess. I thought this whole potty process would be a lot easier. I think he is ready he is just the type of kid that doesn't like to change things up. But I bet once he has a nice little routing of going to the potty it will be good. I hope, I hope, I hope. So wish me luck for the up coming Potty time!
Harvey went to church for the first time today. I felt kind of like a bad mother making him go to church when he is so little exposing him to all of the germs there. I don't know if I will be able to make it back till he gets blessed in May. I kind of wanted to get him blessed in April but Rick's family is going to San Diego for spring break and they will be gone on the day I wanted to bless him so we will have to wait till May. Maybe I should have waited till May to take him to church. I sure hope he does not get sick. Sandra in my ward, made these cute little booties for Harvey and he got to wear them to church.




Yesterday Noah was so cute, we both had our babies and were just relaxing with them at Grandmas. He even put a diaper on his baby.

Kitchen/Bathroom

So I showed Rick my blog and he wondered where the updated kitchen pictures were... well I guess I better put some up. I love my new kitchen. I have tons more space to store things. We found a little space behind a wall that we put a pantry and put some extra storage above the fridge. I picked out the tile and the wall color. It has made a huge improvement to the whole house. The kitchen really is the heart of the home. We also redid the bathroom. The old bathroom pictures you cant really see how small the bathroom was. The tub was along the right side and made it so the bathroom was super narrow and long. We decided that the only way to fix this would be to put the bath tub at the end of the bathroom. We got a small 4 foot tub, its way to small for me to soak but perfect for a shower and to bathe the kids. I really like the blue color I picked out for the walls. Rick found these awesome small white tiles for the floor, that seem to fit the style of the house. I love it. And now we are working on the Laundry room. I am really excited to fix the laundry room since we walk though there every time we leave. It is super annoying to have it such a mess.

Big Boy Bed

Noah slept in his big boy bed! Yeah for Noah! Rick took down the crib and during the day Noah was glad to take it down. Then when it was time to go to sleep he was real upset. But he did it. Slept in his big boy bed (toddler bed) all night, in his new room too. When he woke up he said that he slept on the floor and that, that was not too fun... um... maybe he fell out? But he was so proud of himself! I hope nap time goes as well. I am just excited that Harvey gets to reclaim the crib soon. Maybe we will have to wait a week or so for the big boy bed to set in, so Noah doesn't revert back when he sees the crib up again. Its nice to have a room for each of them. Noah is such a good boy and I am so proud of him.

Camera

So my dumb camera busted. The buttons don't work... this happened before so I don't know weather I should try to get it fixed or just get a new camera. I like that my camera has a wide angle lens and fast start up, but I don't really like the color on most of my pictures, so a new camera might be a fun option. um... but witch camera to get??

Two Months

Wow little Harvey is already 2 months old. We are going into town in just a little bit for his check up. So he has been sleeping a little better he only wakes up once a night at 3am. For a while there he would wake up two times and that was just more than I could handle. Luckily Daddy would take the first shift and I would take the second. But this past week he has only woken up once. He goes to sleep at 7pm and wakes up to eat at 3am and then for the day at 6:30am. (Usually) so I can handle that.

In February We just had fun for Valentines day. Me and Noah made Daddy some pink heart cookies and decorated the kitchen. Rick got me a spa pass and that was super nice. We all exchanged cards so it was a good Valentines day.

Baby Harvey Jackson

He is here. He is so super cute and such a good baby. I still do not think I deserve these good babies. Noah is getting wild now but this baby is calm and does not cry much at all. He still dose not sleep thought the night but I think he is getting close. Noah is still sleeping in the crib so some major changes are going to take place and I am scare to do it. I do not want Noah coming into my room late at night, it is kind of nice having him stuck in his crib. I start Ultrasound again next week I am kind of nervous about leaving the kids but it would be great to get certified in Ultrasound so I have to do it.
